The wedding ceremony will be held at Chapel on the Hill, and will begin at exactly 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Cocktails and Dinner will immediately follow at Balay Indang.
How do I get to the venue(s)?
Please check driving directions and location map here and here. If you need help with transportation, please let us know in advance so we can arrange for carpool with other guests.
What time should I arrive?
Please be at the Chapel on the Hill at least 30 minutes before the ceremony so you can be settled before it starts.
Can I go straight to the reception?
We would really really love for all our guests to witness this most important event in our lives. In the event that some may not be able to make it to the ceremony, yes you may go straight to Balay Indang and enjoy the serenity the place can offer. But we would appreciate and treasure the extra hour you can spend with us at the Chapel. After all, you travelled far enough and you might as well join us from the start of the ceremony till the end of the reception. Trust us you will not regret it.
Where should I park?
Chapel on the Hill- free parking on the side of the street, just below the Chapel.
Balay Indang- free gated parking inside Balay.
Will I have to pay for parking?
Free parking for both ceremony and reception venue.
What should I wear?
Attire is semi-formal. Absolutely, positively no jeans.
good to know!:) |
Reception is a garden venue. You wouldn't want to be stuck in the mud wearing stilletos.
Are there any colors that guests should avoid wearing?
None at all, on second thought, can ladies please refrain from wearing white dresses?
Are kids welcome?
Yes, but please secure your child to maintain the solemnity of the ceremony. Although we are still clueless how we are going to do that with our own son:)
Can I bring a date?
We have specified the number of seat/s reserved for you in the invitation (not yet out though). We hope you understand that we are keeping the number of our guests to 80 max because we want an intimate wedding to begin with.
Does your wedding have a theme?
Honestly, do we really need that? We just want a small, rustic, laid back wedding. Is that enough to make for a theme?:)
I am coming from out of town. Where should I stay?
I have listed some accomodation options here.
When is the RSVP deadline?
We hope to receive your reply by November 25. Or if we are to be cheesy, please let us know by November 13 because we are celebrating our 7th anniversary as a couple on that date.
What should/could I do between the ceremony and the reception?
Explore the 2 hectares of Balay Indang, reconnect with old friends and officemates, enjoy the cocktails. Take lot of pictures. Check my post here for a preview of Balay Indang.
Will food be served?
We will serve cocktails before dinner.
What kind of food will be served?
Homey, comfort food that Balay Indang is known for. For a preview on what will be served for dinner, pls check here.
What if I have a dietary restriction?
Please let us know before the event so we can check with the in-house caterer.
Will there be dancing?
YES! Please bring your dancing shoes. Even if you think you will not dance, think again. We have prepared something that will surely make you dance even if you don't want to (right Carlo?).
What time will the reception end?
I'm still not sure. but if you really need to know, i think 10 PM is safe enough.
Can I take pictures?
Absolutely! And please don't forget to tag us on Facebook.
Is there a gifts registry?
No boxed gifts please. Please check our post regarding wedding gifts here.
